DRM for you and i

If you havn't yet heard, Steve Jobs the head of Apple inc wrote in an article that appeared on the apple.com website about the current state of affairs in the online music business and how drm (the thingy put on music files that makes it worthless by not letting you play it where and when you want to) is bad for the industry. The interesting part is what the RIAA responded with, which was just alot of crap about how they are the important ones because if we really tried (we as in the computer companies) we could accomplish so much even go as far as having software recognize music that is pirated and have it not be played by the music player. Completely forgetting that the consumer has the power. How can we go around this dilemma? Corporations are fucking us over with all this proprietary crap. if we can support an open format for everything... not just music but for programs we could advance the state of affairs by having an open market where the innovative survive and the dumb die.

To see what our ever connected generation will do when they hit the corporate world.
One example of this is our very own Mark Zuckerberg. He started the internet company facebook and is now defying the very people who at one time were in his position. Our generation has never been with out the instant access to wikipeda, google, and other places of vast information. Now with the advent of epaper we wont even have the problem of ever carrying too many books. all of them will be stored in a neat notepad sized device capable of one day connecting to the internet, read books (with the clarity of the books today) and make calls.
This is the mythical device everyone is trying to make but i have yet to see any one device that makes it even remotely possible to do any of these things right.
I might have to take it into my own hands and go against the giants in the industry. David vs Goliath... but i dont even have rocks.

What if i live my life being the best person i can be and then in the end im sent to hell because i wasn't a Christian? Will this ever kind and compassionate god not like me because i didn't follow along with his teachings (or whatever us humans made his teachings out to be)? It seems a little to contradictory to be preaching compassion and turning the other cheek when according to the bible if i dont live my life as a good christian i will be shunned to a eternity of painfull suffering. I suppose it wont be that bad... i mean i'll be among the greats! What about science. There was a time when god did provide an explanation for everything. why does this happen? GOD! why does that happen? GOD! but now we have science explaining everything even the things people dont really want to know. but for their own good must know!
Ignorance is bliss... but how much bliss can a country take with out becoming ignorant of its responsibility to the world?
When will we realize that he isn't coming (and its kinda strange for those women who believe in this, that god just so happens to be a MAN! of all things a man. I have to say that for the women who live in our society if it wasn't for the liberals of the past we would NEVER have come to equal terms. it is because of science that you have been liberated! no through religion.) and start acting accordingly?
its a shame that we act as if its all going to end soon and that people need to be prayed for. NO NEED. DONT PRAY! ACT. do something to change what ever it is you seem to think is wrong!
DONT JUST SIT THERE AND SAY... OH BOY IM GOING TO PRAY FOR HIM!
